Put your hands on the music, wherever you practise.
Starlight is for a laptop-based DJ setup. It puts essential mixing controls beside your keyboard and provides separate audio for the audience and the next track in your headphones.
HANDS-ON CONTROL
Learn cue points and transitions.
Use the jog wheels, crossfader and performance pads to practise with Serato DJ Lite. The compact layout focuses on essential control, with bass/filter adjustment for shaping transitions.
PRIVATE CUEING
Prepare the next track without playing it aloud.
The built-in sound card provides separate headphone and master outputs. Connect headphones for cueing and powered speakers for the main mix; audio comes from the controller rather than a Bluetooth connection.
PORTABLE PRACTICE
Use it with the laptop you already own.
Check your computer against the current Serato DJ Lite requirements, install the software and connect the supplied USB cable. The controller takes its power from USB. The RGB base lighting adds a visual beat reference while you practise.

A few things to know.
Can it play music without a computer?
No. This is a DJ controller: it controls DJ software running on a compatible Windows PC or Mac. Your computer stores or streams the music. Check the current DJ software requirements before buying.
What else do I need to start?
Bring a compatible computer and music. Wired headphones let you prepare the next track privately; powered speakers play the main mix. You can use equipment you already own if the connections match. Headphones, speakers and their audio cables are separate unless listed in the box.
Is this the same as DJControl Mix?
No. Starlight is for Serato DJ Lite on a compatible computer. DJControl Mix is designed to control djay on a phone or tablet.
Does Serato DJ Lite cost extra?
Serato DJ Lite is included for use with the controller. Serato DJ Pro and paid music services are optional extras.
