The Beatmatch Guide shows when to change a track’s speed or nudge its position so the beats line up. Practise with the tempo slider and jog wheel, then switch the guides off as your listening skills grow.

A carry bag and DJUCED PRO are in the box.
The transport bag helps you take the controller to practice or a set. The included DJUCED PRO licence adds features such as recording, remapping and visual loops. Serato DJ Lite is also included; Serato DJ Pro remains a separate paid upgrade.

Connect speakers, headphones and a microphone.
Connect powered speakers to the master output and wired headphones for private cueing. Dedicated mic and AUX inputs let you bring in another source. The computer supplies USB power, so the controller does not need a separate mains adapter.

A few things to know.
What do I need for my first session?
A compatible Windows PC or Mac, music, wired headphones and the included USB cable. Install the included DJ software, connect the controller and select its audio device. Headphones let you prepare the next track privately; add powered speakers and matching audio cables when you want others to hear the mix.
What makes Silver Edition different?
The silver finish, included carry bag and DJUCED PRO licence distinguish this edition. It retains the Inpulse 500 learning guides and audio connections. A second carry case is optional; choose one only if you want different transport protection.
Do I need to buy software as well?
DJUCED PRO and Serato DJ Lite are included. Serato DJ Pro is a separate paid upgrade. Check the software’s current computer requirements; music and paid streaming subscriptions are separate.
Does it play music from a USB stick on its own?
No. This is a controller for DJ software running on a compatible computer, not a standalone music player. The computer supplies the tracks; the controller gives you the hands-on controls and audio outputs.
Is this suitable for a complete beginner?

Should I buy this or a motorized controller?
Choose Inpulse 500 for guided mixing with touch-sensitive jog wheels. Choose Inpulse T7 if spinning vinyl-style platters and learning scratch technique are central to what you want to do.
