A 10.1-inch capacitive full-color touchscreen gives you a clear view of track artwork, waveform previews, BPM, key, cues, loops and playback information. Source, Browse, Waveform, Shortcut, Request and Message screens keep music selection, performance settings and CoBeat audience interaction within reach. Dark and Light display modes improve visibility across dim booths, bright rooms and daytime events.

Play from USB, Cloud or Supported Streaming Services

Use compatible USB storage through the Type-A or Type-C storage ports, connect a computer or mobile device, or access a rekordbox library through CloudDirectPlay. Built-in Wi-Fi and wired LAN support online workflows. StreamingDirectPlay is listed for Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL, while cloud storage is listed for Dropbox and Google Drive. Fast Login and Crowd Interaction

QR-code and NFC login help DJs reach supported cloud and streaming services without repeatedly entering credentials. CoBeat lets audience members send song requests and messages from their smartphones, which can be viewed on the CDJ-1500X screen. The feature can be used when audience participation suits the event and left off when the DJ prefers to focus only on the set.

Professional Separate-Player Flexibility

The CDJ-1500X provides eight Hot Cue buttons, Beat Sync, Beat Jump and a push-to-activate Beat Loop control around a mid-size jog wheel with a rotation indicator. PRO DJ LINK can connect multiple compatible players and a DJ mixer over LAN; AlphaTheta states that up to four units can be connected when a switching hub is used. The front LED can be set to 12 colors, and optional side panels are sold separately for visual customization.
