PIONEER DJ PLX-CRSS12
Switch from analog records to tone-arm-free DVS
Build a scratch setup around a hybrid direct-drive deck that supports analog records and digital vinyl control. Its included MAGVEL CLAMP and four MIDI-mappable pads put hands-on performance controls at the platter, while Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox supports DVS when paired with a compatible mixer.

Switch between real records and digital tracks
Play analog records with the tone arm, or switch to tone-arm-free DVS control using the included MAGVEL CLAMP. Compatible software and a DVS-capable mixer are required for digital playback.
Trigger cues and samples without reaching away
The built-in MIDI-mappable pads provide quick access to Hot Cues, samples and other supported DJ software functions. A dedicated button switches between pads 1–4 and 5–8.
Keep key deck information in view
The built-in OLED shows tempo range and key during Step Pitching. With a USB-connected PC or Mac running compatible DJ software, it can also show BPM, key and deck number.

PHONO RCA + ground

A few things to know.
Is a cartridge included with the PLX-CRSS12?
Pioneer DJ’s published in-the-box list includes a headshell and shell weight but does not list a cartridge. Confirm the local package with Silent Noise; budget for a compatible cartridge if you plan analog playback.
What do I need to use the PLX-CRSS12 for DVS?
Use a PC or Mac with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox, and connect to a mixer that supports the selected software’s DVS function. The turntable alone is not a complete DVS system.
Can I play analog records on this turntable?
Yes. Switch to Analog mode and use the tone arm with a compatible cartridge. It supports 33 1/3 rpm and 45 rpm records; a record is not included in this equipment listing.
What does the MAGVEL CLAMP do?
The included MAGVEL CLAMP holds the record in place for tone-arm-free DVS control. Its dial lets you adjust the record’s feel without changing the slip mat or slip sheet.
